Although it is one of the smaller collections, it houses a number of interesting objects. This particularly applies to the collection of 47 tins and boxes of canned fish from the first half of the 20th century, produced in Dalmatian factories in Vis, Komiža, Makarska, Vela Luka, Postira, Trpanj, Rogoznica... The assortment was diverse, and the products, being Dalmatian specialties, were mainly intended for export and therefore have texts in English, French, German, Italian and/or Spanish.
Preserved among the fishing tools and accessories in the Collection are fishing rods made of wicker, forged fishing spears, different types of hooks and the so-called “svićalo-gradelada”, a fishing tool from the 19th century that had a fire or torch burning and which was used for night hunting of bluefish before the introduction of kerosene lamps.
