Microfilm Collection

The Collection consists of microfilmed archival materials of the former Military and Naval Museum of the Yugoslav Navy, whose originals are kept in other Croatian and foreign institutions, and are of scientific interest to researchers of modern history. Kept in the Collection are micro-recordings on 35 mm film of documents from the Royal Yugoslav Navy and the Partisan Navy. The largest part of the microfilmed documents originates from the period of the Second World War. It concerns the operation of the German Navy in the Adriatic and the operation of the Partisan Navy in the Bari naval base after the Italian capitulation, in the period from 1943 to 1945.
